Leslie Coatings Inc. was founded in 1948 by John, Richard, and Robert Leslie to serve the specialty construction industry within Indiana. The Leslie’s were pioneers in 1950 when they entered the sports surfacing and asphalt maintenance business with the desire of creating and installing the best sports surfaces. Over the years, Leslie Coatings has maintained those standards and is recognized as leaders and experts in the tennis court and running track industry.
Leslie Coatings Inc. was taken to the next level of sports construction in the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s by Jerry Gray and David Nielsen. The true innovators of the business, they developed a running track surfacing system that has passed the test of time. The Reflex running track surface continues to be the standard in latex track surfaces in the Midwest.
Leslie Coatings Inc. is led today by Matt Strom, who started with Leslie Coatings in 1995. We are the leading tennis, pickleball, and basketball court builder within Indiana and portions of Illinois and Ohio.
